Welcome to Falls Management Training

Welcome to Falls Management Training. We are a provider of training and consultancy services specialising in the prevention and management of falls in older people.

One in three people aged over 65, and half of those aged over 80, fall at least once a year. Falls are a major cause of death from injury in the over 65s, and many falls result in fractures and/or head injuries. Falls cost the NHS more than £2 billion per year.

Care home residents are three times more likely to fall than older people living in their own homes, with up to 35% of falls resulting in serious injury and up to 8% in fractures.

Falls Management Training works within both the public and private sector, including care homes, housing schemes/villages, health and social care organisations and home care agencies. We can meet the training needs for small independent organisations through to larger corporate care providers. We also offer Falls Awareness Information Sessions for residents and their family/carers living in care homes and housing schemes/villages.

The primary objective of Falls Management Training is to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life for all service users.
